  1. LEADERS DON’T HAVE TOO MANY FRIENDS
Yes! If you ask any great person you know about how many friends they really have, you’d be amazed

An example is David. He was a great warrior; became famous after defeating the champion of Philistia, Goliath. He must have had many fans and well wishers. But he had just one friend: Jonathan.

Late Dr Myles Munroe once said success chooses his friends. You want to stand out, then have the right company.

When I mean right company. I mean the company that is right for where you’re headed. Your destination should determine the kind of friends you have.

  1. LEADERS ARE READERS : Well, this might have become a cliche. But it’s still as important as taking your bath.

Hosea 4:6 says: “my people perish because of lack of knowledge”…. not money or influence but knowledge. You need to read if you want to lead. You want to be a CEO of that oil company?. What do you know about people management?. Can you manage resources?. How about business management?. Can you sustain the growth of that company?.

These questions can only be answered when you read. Information is so powerful that even God admits that death, whether spiritual or financial, comes because of lack of knowledge.
