Leadership is more than occupying a position. It’s more than having a badge. It’s more than being a manager or CEO. In this article, I’ll be sharing seven important tips on becoming a leader.
1. A leader is first,a follower of a leader.
Leadership begins by – but doesn’t end in – followership. This brings us to the topic of mentorship. Just as you have a spiritual or financial mentor or coach, you must have a leadership mentor. For Joshua of the Bible, his leadership mentor will be Moses. For David, it’ll be Saul. For Peter, it’ll be Jesus. Who’s your leadership mentor?. If you don’t have one,I suggest you do. Leaders are first, followers.
2. Every leader is unique.
Whether you know it or not, Whether you believe it or not, inherent in every human being is a potential;a gift;a talent. You must discover/identify those gifts locked up inside of you in order to be valuable to your world. In such a dispensation, where people want to “be like” others, it’s important that you discover that hidden talent. Find yourself!
